This is the most mathematical unit in SNC2D. It covers how light behaves when it hits different surfaces and passes through different materials.

A neutralization reaction occurs when an acid and a base react together. They neutralize each other and produce salt and water.

Antacids use neutralization reactions to reduce excess acid in the stomach.

Single Displacement Reactions

One element replaces another element in a compound.

The more reactive element displaces the less reactive one.
