Taha Arafat

Hi!, I’m Taha Arafat. I’m a pharmacist, medical researcher and chemistry and pharmacology tutor. I have a degree in pharmacology and pharmaceutical sciences, and I have been working with engineering students to help them excel in their chemistry courses throughout the engineering degree.

I am a Cochrane author with methodological expertise in research and 2 systematic reviews. Research topics include Antibiotics for the prophylaxis against UTI and Lifitegrast for the treatment of dry eye disease. My communication skills allow me to reach any student and collaborate with them to break down even the most complicated topics into simple and easily comprehensible information. This allows me to adapt to students’ diverse learning styles and create a wonderful learning environment in a one-on-one class.

I believe employing modern methods like mnemonics, spaced repetition and visualized learning is essential to get the best out of students and I use such methods to make sure they get the best possible learning experience in chemistry.
