Ameera Alhaj

My name is Ameera Alhaj, currently a third-year student at the University of Toronto, majoring in Health Science with a minor in Education. With over three years of tutoring experience, I have helped students ages 6 and up excel in subjects like science (chem/bio), math, and English. I offer guidance on essay writing, helping students organize their thoughts and structure their arguments effectively.I believe in a step by step approach to teaching, breaking down complex concepts into simple pieces so students can fully grasp the material. I have also developed personalized study tips that help students improve their understanding. My communication skills allow me to explain challenging topics in a clear and engaging way.Given the growing role of technology in our daily lives , I like to use digital tools to create a more interactive/ engaging learning experience.
